Nadine Mazzola completed 1999 ranked #17.  She finished 9th at the Cuetec Players Championship and 13th at the Viejas Southern California Classic and the Soaring Eagle WPBA National Championship.  Nadine also had 17th place finishes at the Prescott Resort Arizona Classic and the Brunswick WPBA US Open and a 25th place finish at the BCA Pro Open.  1999 was Nadine's third year of full time competition on the WPBA Classic Tour.

In 2000 Nadine retired from playing actively on the WPBS Pro Tour to pursue her art and graphic design.  She was honored by her fellow WPBA players when she retired by being voted WPBA Sports Person of the Year.

Nadine holds 8 State Championship Titles, was ranked #1 in New England for two consecutive years and won Player of the Year in 1993 and 1994.  Her success, as a Touring Pro on the WPBA Classic Tour, is no surprise to her many friends and fans around the country.  They are aware of her great play and never give up spirit.

In 1999 she was elected to serve a two year term on the WPBA Board of Directors as Vice President.  Nadine comes to the WPBA with a wealth of experience in many areas of the sport.  She holds degrees in business management and marketing and is currently General Manager of Breakers Billiards in Woburn, MA in addition to playing full time on the Classic Tour.

Nadine is very passionate about the grass roots of our sport.  She founded the New England Women's Pool Association in 1991 and she and her husband Jerry grew the tour to be the largest regional women's tour in all of New England.  Nadine and Jerry continue to be visible in regional activities, Jerry as Tournament Director for the Allen Hopkins Super Billiards Expo amateur events and Nadine continues her passion for regional development by working from the WPBA board to develop and promote regional competition for women.  She was inducted into the New England Pool and Billiard Hall of Fame in 1995 for her achievements and dedication in the sport of Billiards.

Nadine is a columnist for All About Pool Magazine and The American Cueist writing the popular "Practice makes Perfect" column.  She is also a staff photographer and writer for Pool and Billiard Magazine.  In addition, many of the photos you see on the WPBA website are hers.  Nadine and her husband Jerry reside in Boston, MA and she is sponsored by JOSS Cues.  www.josscues.com
